Ingredients  (for scones): – Flour – Xanthan gum  – Brown sugar  – Baking powder – Salt – Unsalted butter  – Heavy cream – Egg – Lemon zest  – Vanilla extract – Blackberries

Ingredients  (for icing): – Powdered sugar - Water - Unsalted butter

Step 1:  Whisk dry ingredients

Step 2:  Cut butter into flour mixture until you get sand like texture

Step 3:  Whisk wet ingredients

Step 4:  Add wet to dry ingredients to get scone dough

Step 5:  Fold blackberries into dough

Step 6:  Shape dough into ball and chill until hardened

Step 7:  Shape dough into round disc and cut into 8 wedges

Step 8:  Chill wedges before brushing with cream and sprinkling with sugar. Bake until golden.

Step 9:  Prepare icing (optional)

Step 10:  Drizzle icing over cooled scones
