Red Velvet  Cake

INGREDIENTS FOR  RED VELVET CAKE

Ingredients for  Red Velvet Cake: – Brown sugar – Unsalted Butter – Flour – Baking soda – Baking powder – Cocoa powder – Salt – Yolks & egg whites – Sunflower oil – Lemon juice – Vanilla extract – Red gel coloring – Almond milk

INGREDIENTS FOR FROSTING

Ingredients For Frosting: – Cream Cheese – Unsalted Butter – Powdered sugar – Vanilla extract

Step 1:  Beat butter with sugar

Step 2:  Whisk dry ingredients

Step 3:  Add yolks, oil, lemon juice and vanilla to butter-sugar mixture

Step 4:  Add food coloring

Step 5:  Add milk and dry ingredients

Step 6:  Fold beaten egg whites into batter

Step 7:  Bake cake

Step 8:  Slice into layers

Step 9:  Prepare cream cheese frosting

Step 10:  Assemble red velvet cake

Step 11:  Slice and enjoy!
