Easy Cornbread


Ingredients: - Cornmeal - Coconut Oil - GF flour - Baking Powder - Almond Milk - Sugar - Salt - Eggs

Step 2: Heat up 8" empty cast iron skillet in the preheated oven.

Step 1: Preheat oven to 425F (220C) and adjust rack to middle position.

Step 3: Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl (cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.)

Step 4: Whisk in almond milk, eggs, melted coconut oil, leaving 1 Tbsp oil for skillet.

Step 5: Remove skillet from oven to brush entire surface with oil and reduce heat to 375F (180C) e

Step 6: Pour batter into skillet and smooth out with wet spatula and bake 25 to 30 minutes.

Step 7: Allow to cool for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
