Caipirinha, the Brazilian way.

Over the weekend we got together at Luisa’s place to celebrate Fernando’s birthday. Juan decided to show off some bartending skills, and so we brough the Brazilian Cachaca and limes over. He did an awesome job, and produced some really tough-to-beat Capirinha, the Brazilian way!

CAIPIRINHA

Ingredients:

1) 2 tsp sugar
2) 8 lime wedges (each wedge is 1/4 of a lime)
3) 2 1/2 ounce of Cachaca

Steps:

1) Pour some sugar in a plate, and turning a transparent glass upside down, coat the edges of the glass with sugar
2) Sprinkle the sugar into the lime wedges in a drinks mixer and add cachaca (shake well)
3) Add ice cubes to the glass
4) Pour the mixed Caiprinha into the glass

    Felicia, its Sheryl Tay! Your name came up on my facebook feed one day and I wondered how you were doing, and it brought me here! You’re living in BA and you have become a masterchef! Awesome! Honestly you look really happy and im happy for you.       Sheryl!!!!!!!! OMG!!!! how have u been???? Are u in SG or some exotic country of ship?? last i remembered you were heading off on a boat/ship for an exchange somewhere!! What have u been doing now? So cool that you decided to drop by and say hi!!!!! WOW!! still can’t get over the very nice surprise to hear from you!

      Yeah i’ve been in BA for 2.5 years and am happy hear (my bf is Argentine) but ultimately I wish to move to Europe!!

      No way am I a master chef!! just started learning how to cook this year and this blog is the by-product of it!! As for drinks I’m not such a big fan (as you can see only like 2 drinks on the menu or sthg). But my bf makes pretty good drinks so yeah will be cool if you share your drink recipes!!!!
