These bacon-wrapped little Smokies make a delicious appetizer or snack for the holidays! Easy to make and incredibly tasty, your guests will definitely be asking for more. Gluten-free and dairy-free too.
Ingredients
- 16 gluten-free little smokie sausages, about 2-inches long
- 8 strips bacon
- 3 tablespoons honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat & Line: Preheat the oven to 350F and line a large baking dish with parchment paper.
- Cut Bacon into Strips: Cut the bacon into narrow strips, about ½-inch thick.
- Wrap Sausages in Bacon: Wrap each little smokie sausage in bacon, overlapping the ends of the bacon.
- Place Sausages on Baking Sheet: Lay out the bacon-wrapped sausages on a baking sheet. Use a silicon brush to spread honey over the sausages.
- Bake: Bake for about 20 minutes until the edges of the bacon are crispy.
Notes
Little Smokies: Make sure to get the cocktail sausages because that’s the whole point of these individual appetizers (so they can be served individually!).
Bacon: Depending on how much you enjoy bacon, you can either use regular-cut bacon or thick-cut bacon, and then cutting the bacon into narrow strips.
Honey: I used raw honey, but you can use whichever honey you have on hand.
