Description

These bacon-wrapped little Smokies make a delicious appetizer or snack for the holidays! Easy to make and incredibly tasty, your guests will definitely be asking for more. Gluten-free and dairy-free too.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 gluten-free little smokie sausages, about 2-inches long
  • 8 strips bacon
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Line: Preheat the oven to 350F and line a large baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Cut Bacon into Strips: Cut the bacon into narrow strips, about ½-inch thick.
  3. Wrap Sausages in Bacon: Wrap each little smokie sausage in bacon, overlapping the ends of the bacon.
  4. Place Sausages on Baking Sheet: Lay out the bacon-wrapped sausages on a baking sheet. Use a silicon brush to spread honey over the sausages.
  5. Bake: Bake for about 20 minutes until the edges of the bacon are crispy.

Notes

Little Smokies: Make sure to get the cocktail sausages because that’s the whole point of these individual appetizers (so they can be served individually!).

Bacon: Depending on how much you enjoy bacon, you can either use regular-cut bacon or thick-cut bacon, and then cutting the bacon into narrow strips.

Honey: I used raw honey, but you can use whichever honey you have on hand.
