The Most Flavorful Sriracha Aioli

I’m a HUGE fan of sriracha chili sauce.. Since I enjoy quite a bit of heat in my food, I literally slather it on everything possible…

And if you add in some fresh garlic and mayonnaise to the Sriracha, you’ll get an even more amazing sauce with plenty of flavor and taste!

For a flavorful kick, eat it with homemade burgers, French fries, zucchini fries, chicken tenders to crab cakes, fish tacos, etc.

I promise you, you’ll be making this delicious spicy aioli recipe on repeat!

Recipe Notes + Substitutions:

  • Mayonnaise: Mayonnaise adds a creamy texture to this sauce. If you are allergic to eggs or would simply like to make a vegan Sriracha aioli, go ahead and use your favorite vegan mayo instead.
  • Sriracha Sauce: Since this is a recipe for Sriracha aioli, Sriracha is a key ingredient here.
  • Lime Juice: I recommend using fresh lemon juice for the best flavor. Alternatively, if you don’t have limes, you can use lemon juice instead.
  • Garlic: I love a bold garlic flavor, but you can also reduce the amount of garlic used if you prefer a milder garlic taste. You can either use freshly grated garlic or finely minced garlic. Alternatively, you may also use garlic powder, although I personally feel that fresh garlic tastes much better.
  • Honey: This recipe uses a bit of honey to add sweetness. If you’re not keen on the sweetness, feel free to leave out the honey directly.
  • Regulate Heat: If you don’t like the aioli to be too spicy, start with 2 tablespoons of Sriracha chili sauce and whisk it all together. Taste the sauce and then increase the amount of Sriracha if you like more heat.
  • Store: If not using the aioli sauce straightaway, place the homemade Sriracha aioli in an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Dish by Dish Tips/Tricks:

  • Process Sauce for Smooth Texture: If you prefer for the garlic to be fully integrated (as opposed to minced garlic or grated garlic), you can use a high-speed blender or immersion blender to process the ingredients until this spicy aioli is completely smooth.
  • Storing: If not using the Sriracha aioli sauce straightaway, place the homemade Sriracha aioli in an airtight container or mason jar and store in the fridge for up to 5 days.

  1. This Sriracha Aioli sauce is so handy and great to compliment most of the air-fried finger foods – potato wedges, potato chip, chicken bites, prawn crisps etc….
Because it is so easy to whip up this sauce, we can always have them freshly made whenever we need it 🙂
