How to Make these Rainbow Fruit Skewers (Step by Step):

Strawberries and raspberries on wooden sticks
Red Fruits: Take wooden skewers or bamboo skewers and start by placing a raspberry at the very end. Make sure to use a big or medium-sized raspberry so that it holds well. Wash the strawberries, remove the stems, and slide them onto the skewer, positioning them close to the raspberry.
Pineapples, mangoes, oranges, strawberries and raspberries on wooden sticks
Orange and Yellow Fruits: Add a slice of mandarin orange, followed by a piece of mango and a chunk of pineapple.

Green, Purple and Blue Fruits: Next, place a slice of kiwi, a green grape, and a purple grape if there is enough space. Finally, finish with a blueberry.

Serve with Dip of Choice: Serve the fruit kabobs immediately with your dip of choice (such as whipped cream or this chocolate yogurt dip) for the best freshness and taste.

Dish by Dish Tips:

  • Size of Fruits: I recommend cutting the mango and pineapple in even bite-sized pieces so the skewers have a more uniform feel.
  • Use Fresh Fruits: I recommend using fresh fruits for the best flavor. For the pineapple, fresh pineapple or canned pineapple will work.
  • Serve Immediately for Freshness: The skewers are best prepared just before eating to prevent oxidization. Alternatively, you can prepare them and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain freshness before serving.
  • Serve With: Serve with your dip of choice such as greek yogurt dip or this healthy chocolate yogurt dip!
